21st Century Albion Network Migration
December 8th, 2009Dear customer,
Thank you for being a longstanding customer of Albion for the provision of Internet services.
We are delighted to announce that Albion is upgrading our network to make full use of new 21st Century network technology. This enables us to provide enhanced services to our customers in terms of increased speed, reduced network contention and greater resilience.
We will upgrade you to the new service free of charge and at no additional cost to yourselves.
Before the upgrade date, we will provide you with a router free of charge that will be pre configured.
On the day that your service upgrade takes place you will need to remove your existing router and plug in the router we have sent you.
The migration will occur at any time during this day.
We estimate that this will result in the service being down for about 1/2 an hour.
You do not need to plug in the new router until your old service stops.
Your new router has been configured with the following information:
Internet settings: Encapsulation: PPPoE, Multiplexing Method: LLC, VPI: 0, VCI: 101, DSL Mode: Auto
Update 21st Century is now complete, Thank you
